Our home features a lovely blending of rustic and elegant with the use of stone, wood and formal decor. It is our little bit of the great out west in the foothills of Virginia. The Lodge Home is the perfect place for the bride and her attendants to enjoy our large 1000 square foot beautifully decorated bridal suite and dressing room. There is a private patio and outdoor seating that the girls can use to enjoy the mountain views. As always, our ladies are treated to complimentary mimosas (upon request) and a selection of fruits, cheeses and pastries. Our romantic and elegant dressing room featuring soft neutral colors is filled with abundant natural light. An entire wall is decorated with a beautiful archway to highlight the wedding gown and bridesmaid’s dresses. We provide hand painted wooden hangers for up to 10 ladies, as well as a one-of-a-kind, handcarved hanger for the bride.

Mountain lodge home

Our architecturally stunning, climate controlled, handcrafted barn is built entirely out of pine and western red cedar. Our guests are greeted with soaring 24’ cathedral ceilings, large oil rubbed bronze chandeliers, 22 ceiling fans and working cupolas. Our barn features beautiful acid stained flooring, rolling front and rear doors, 14 windows, two hayloft doors and huge beams throughout. This carpentry work of art with over 4400 square feet, can easily accommodate 150 guests and includes a prep area for on-site caterers. Standard amenities include tables and chairs, layout set up (according to final guest count), 10 whiskey barrels, 2 wooden doors, apple crates and lanterns. We have a lovely assortment of additional décor, as well as bistro lighting, separate wiring for DJ or live music and ADA compliant, heated restrooms.

Step back in time to the appearance of a 19th century Virginia cabin nestled in a lush pine forest. Recently built out of the finest, all natural materials on the highest point of our ridge. This remarkable structure with it’s cypress siding, front and rear porches, massive soapstone fireplace, reclaimed long leaf pine flooring and green metal roof bless all who enter. Our gentlemen, upon their arrival, are always greeted with home baked cookies and the perfect salty accompaniment. They will not want to leave their private, 950 square foot, rustic, upscale mountain retreat! Our cabin is located adjacent to the ceremony site.

Groom's cabin

Located on the back lawn of the cabin, this site is truly how Sierra Vista got its name. Our guests are greeted with a refreshing glass of ice water and gather on our lovely brick patio staring at one of the most talked about views in the area. Pine trees were hand selected to frame the ceremony site and brick wedding aisle. This location captures the natural beauty of Virginia countryside with the grandest of all backdrops. Standard amenities include 6 outdoor whiskey barrels, a 5’ wide cedar pergola and a 9’ tall wooden cross for our couples to choose from. Of course, ‘no decor’ is also an option, as the view speaks for itself!
